I wanted to share with you a bit of my story and background and how I began this company with a bigger vision.
I grew up in Northern India, and as a child I was always intrigued by science and its interplay with our environment. I grew up to be a Scientist, specifically a Biochemist. The benefit of that was that I always understood the chemical nature of the materials we used and its bodily interactions. I came to USA 12 years ago, to specialize and get my Masters in Biochemistry.
After that I worked in drug discovery and worked closely with medicinal chemistry. I analyzed drugs and their effects on body functions and proteins. As I was doing that, I realized that every single day we interact with chemicals in environment, food and food prepping and carrying utensils. We are just focusing on treatments of problems rather than prevention. At that point, I realized that my real work should be to contribute to the society by bringing a Holistic approach towards healthy eating and healthy living, by using sustainable products which are good for our overall survival.
